These works were inspired by a 2 year MA at the Kings School of Traditional Arts in London. This is a rare space for artists from around the world to be immersed in the practice and research of sacred arts. My second year project explored 3 streams - a cabinet inspired by the Insular Illuminated manuscript tradition, a chair accompanied by a folk icon of the poem “Dream of the Rood”, and an Ancestral Shrine that made space for the 4 classical elements of antiquity.
